  • How much does a website cost?

  • How long does it take to build a website?

  • If I'm interested, what's the next step?

  • Why do you ask for a budget?

The number one question. It really depends on the size and complexity of your web site. Your site is a bespoke product, unique and part of your company’s brand, no two of our web sites are be alike. We would like to get a general understanding of your business which will allow us to create a site to help you achieve your business goals and objectives for your company a whole. This will help us to define the work required in order to meet all your objectives and as such the project will be priced accordingly. As you can probably guess, this means it’s rather difficult to give you an exact price until we understand exactly what the web site will entail.

As with price, this is really depends on the size and complexity of the site, whether you have the material for the site (text and images). As a rough guide, content managed solution usually takes about a month. But as there are so many things to bring together we would prefer to provide an estimate for each project. If you have a specific deadline, we will do our utmost meet it if at all possible.

In most cases we would prefer to meet you face to face in order to gain a complete understanding of your business and objectives for the site. We will talk through the processes and possible solutions. If you are after a very simple website, a telephone conversation is probably sufficient.

We will need to tailor a solution to suit your budget. In most circumstances we can achieve this, but it's better to know from the start what we need to work towards rather than discover unrealistic expectations further down the line.

  • Who will I deal with?

  • Can you help me with my existing website?

  • Do I really need to have a ‘responsive’ website?

If you approach us to create a new site, you will deal directly with Stephen Bugden, the founder of Netmonics. Stephen has over 25 years in software development and has been working with web technology since 1998. He will be your point of contact and will manage any outsourced pieces sections of work to ensure they all meet the required standard.

Probably not. We use very specialised technology to provide our solutions which allows us to be efficient and provide a wide range of solutions. If you already have a site and would like to replace it, we would simply reproduce the parts that you want to keep and continue to build from there.

By responsive, we mean that the web site will lay itself out on a mobile phone as well as a desktop. We achieve by arranging blocks of information vertically on a phone and in a grid on a desktop. The internet is accessed increasingly from mobile devices so we would strongly advise a ‘responsive’ site.
