We use the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) for many reasons. It’s by far the most popular content management system in the world, used by 37% of the world’s websites and over 60% of Content Management systems.

It has wide spread support with an abundance of themes, plugins and documentation.

A Content Management System (CMS) is software application that allows users to create a website without coding.

A user interface allows you to create pages and add content to them. Site wide layouts known as ‘themes’ can be installed to change the look and feel. A CMS also provides user roles and permissions, security features, extensions (usually known as plugins), automated updates, and blogging functionality.

Plugins are a key feature of a CMS as they allow the functionality to be extended, to provide forms, SEO, backups, security, forms, galleries, social media etc.

Care needs to be taken when selecting plugins to ensure quality, continued updates and support as well as to avoid possible conflicts with other installed plugins.

Yes, that is an option.

If you wish, you can have full access to the site once complete, you’ll be able to add images, update the titles and descriptions, create new pages etc.

However, this assumes you are competent enough to make these changes. The pages are designed to work across all devices types (mobile, tablet, desktop) so you may need some training to be able to do this.

We do recommend you use a WordPress professional for installing and updating plugins and for updating WordPress itself.
